The treatment
Microneedling is a well-established, non-invasive treatment to support the skin against the signs of ageing. At Ice Lady in Marrakech, we use it to densify the skin, slow the visible effects of time and improve overall skin quality. It works with fine micro-needles that create controlled micro-perforations on the skin’s surface.
These micro-stimulations activate the skin’s natural repair processes, encouraging it to produce more collagen and elastin. Layer by layer, the skin renews itself: texture becomes finer and more even, and the complexion more uniform. The micro-channels also help the actives applied during the treatment to penetrate.

Aftercare
- Redness similar to mild sunburn is normal for one to three days.
- Avoid make-up for at least 24 hours and let your skin breathe.
- Stay out of the sun and apply high-protection sunscreen daily.
- Avoid hammam, sauna, swimming pools and intense exercise for a few days.
- Use gentle products and pause exfoliating actives until your practitioner says otherwise.

- Active inflammatory acne, infection, wound or cold sore on the area.
- Current or recent isotretinoin treatment.
- Tendency to keloid scarring.
- Bleeding disorders or anticoagulant treatment.
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding.
