The treatment

Pressotherapy is a non-invasive compression drainage treatment. Lying comfortably, you slip into boots — and, if needed, an abdominal belt or arm sleeves — connected to a device that inflates and deflates successive chambers. This gentle, rhythmic sequential pressure moves from the feet upwards and follows the principle of lymphatic drainage.

The aim is to support venous and lymphatic return, ease the feeling of heavy legs and reduce the puffy look linked to water retention. Many of our clients in Marrakech enjoy it during the hot months, after a long day on their feet, a long journey or a flight, or to recover after exercise.

At Ice Lady, pressotherapy is also part of our body programs: it complements cryolipolysis and electrostimulation by supporting drainage between sessions. It does not cause weight loss on its own, but it helps refine the look of your silhouette and smooth the appearance of orange-peel skin as part of a course. Pressure is always set to your comfort, and your eligibility is checked in consultation.

How a session works

  1. Needs assessment

We discuss how you feel (heavy legs, retention, recovery), your health history and goals, and confirm your eligibility.

  2. Getting settled

You are made comfortable, then the boots, belt or sleeves are fitted according to the areas to drain.

  3. Sequential compression

Pressure cycles move from the feet upwards. Intensity is set to your tolerance and can be adjusted at any time.

  4. Advice and rhythm

We share hydration and lifestyle tips, then plan the rhythm of your next sessions.

Recommended protocol

For a more lasting effect, we recommend an initial course of one to two sessions a week, often four to eight sessions in total, followed by maintenance sessions as needed. The exact rhythm is set in consultation.

Pressotherapy combines easily with cryolipolysis, electrostimulation or chromotherapy in a complete body program. As a one-off, a session can also bring relief after a flight, a busy day or an intense workout.

Frequently asked questions

Is pressotherapy painful?

No, it generally feels pleasant and relaxing, like an enveloping massage. The pressure is set to your comfort and can be adjusted at any time.

How often should I have pressotherapy?

During an initial course, one to two sessions a week are often recommended. After that, maintenance sessions can be scheduled depending on your needs and the season.

How many sessions will I need?

A course of four to eight sessions is often advised for a more lasting effect. The exact number depends on your goals and is set in consultation.

Does pressotherapy help you lose weight?

No, it is not a weight-loss method. It supports drainage and a feeling of lightness, and is an effective complement to a slimming program such as cryolipolysis or electrostimulation.

When will I feel the effects?

Lighter legs are often felt by the end of the session. Effects are more stable when sessions are done as a regular course.

How much does pressotherapy cost in Marrakech?

The price depends on whether you book a single session or a course, and is shared during your consultation. You can book via WhatsApp, by phone or through our contact form.
